
ο»ΏComing to Our Senses is an online experience, guiding you to Connect with Nature for Wellbeing. It's a 10-month course, broken up into 6-week modules, each on a different theme.
This 6-week module focuses on connection.
It guides us through engaging weekly activities to practise locally, which help us to slow down and get into ourΒ relaxed Forest Bathing state of mind. In that calm and curious state, we experience our local nature in fresh ways.
Our direct personal relationship with nature has largely been forgotten in modern society. Yet this beautiful connection lies dormant within each of us, just waiting to be rekindled. Past students have said they discovered a stronger sense of love, respect, and belonging with the natural world.
By the end of this course, you will:

Meet Jan, your course guide
Jan's passion is creating the right conditions for people to connect with their local nature through simple, enjoyable activities.
She began working with city children in the 1980s, taking them into the woods to meet and come to love the natural world. Then after many years as a full-time mother and holistic physical therapist, she heard about Forest Bathing, and instantly knew it was for her.
Today, she combines her experience in healthcare with her love and care for people, nature, and our beautiful planet, by creating hands-on online courses.
She believes that everyone should have the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with their local nature. When we connect with nature, we fall in love, and what we love we protect.
She lives in the UK, and when she is not working as a therapist or course creator, she is often to be found in her vegetable garden, walking, cooking world food, or making willow baskets.
